nVenia provides top-quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for administering the cycle count program to ensure the proper items are being counted and inventory records are accurate. They are also responsible for determining root cause of inaccurate inventory and suggesting process changes as a result.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Prepare for daily cycle counts, determine items to be counted, print count sheets, ensure counters are following correct processes.  
  • Enter and post cycle counts into inventory records.  
  •  Correct inventory records per cycle counts and investigate root cause of discrepancies.  
  • Suggest process changes/continuous improvement based on root cause analysis for warehouse, production, and purchasing operations.  
  •  Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier RMA’s are processed in a timely manner.  
  • Identify errors in quantity, location or part number and correct in the warehouse and within the system.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all inventory adjustments.
  • Work with Accounting to reconcile inventory errors.
  • Daily analysis and correction of negative on hand inventory quantities.  
  • Work with Production to reconcile missing inventory and backflush errors and make corrections to the system.
  • Verify parts and counts for scheduling or production.
  • Seek disposition of aged/obsolete inventory.
  • Audit the movement of materials by system users.
  • Assist with gathering data for inventory control reports.
  • Assist with appropriate corrective actions.  
  • Create and maintain metric reports to track and measure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to safety policy/procedures.
     

  • High school diploma or general education (GED).  
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years in inventory control/warehouse environment.
  •  ERP/ MRP systems experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.  On occasion, may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. 

The incumbent must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position is an office-based position with potential visits to the manufacturing area.
