EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES
Education: High School Diploma / Equivalency Preferred
Experience: 3 years’ experience in either machine assembly or industrial maintenance.
Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatics preferred.
Core Competencies:
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, assembly instructions, and bill of materials.
- Flexible scheduling with occasional weekend work.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas.
Personal Characteristics:
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Responds with a sense of urgency
- Willingness to be a team player and work collaboratively with other departments.

Physical and Environmental Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, squat, crawl, climb, and work at heights. The employee is constantly required to walk and do repetitious turning and twisting with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally reach high and low and lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
Work environment includes manufacturing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Temperatures vary from cool to hot as production area is not completely temperature controlled.
