As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Partner Ecosystem Executive to drive the expansion of Acumera’s edge computing and managed service offerings through strategic partnerships with key technology providers, MSPs, and system integrators. This role will focus on scaling our partner network to meet the specific needs of multi-location retailers, convenience store operators, and QSRs who demand secure, high-performance, and scalable network solutions.

 

 

Role Overview:

As a Partner Ecosystem Manager at Acumera, you will play a pivotal role in growing and nurturing our partner ecosystem, which includes MSPs, technology vendors, and system integrators that complement Acumera’s edge computing, network, and cloud solutions. You will focus on developing partnerships in key verticals, including retail, convenience stores, and QSRs, to deliver secure, real-time, and high-performance IT infrastructure.

You will lead efforts to integrate edge computing solutions into these industries’ operations, enabling them to process data closer to the source, reduce latency, and improve overall network performance—critical for use cases like real-time inventory management, customer data processing, and secure payment transactions.

 

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Ecosystem Strategy Development:
    Develop and implement a partner ecosystem strategy that focuses on integrating Acumera’s edge computing solutions with key Managed Service Providers (MSPs), technology vendors, and system integrators. Focus on partnerships that help deliver real-time, secure, and scalable solutions to retail, convenience store, and QSR businesses.
  • Partner Recruitment & Engagement:
    Identify and recruit new partners, especially in the edge computing and networking spaces, including MSPs, technology integrators, and value-added resellers (VARs). Focus on strategic partners that can help drive Acumera’s solutions in industries where real-time data processing, low-latency networks, and high-security standards are critical, such as retail, convenience stores, and QSRs.
  • Edge Computing Enablement & Training:
    Work closely with partners to help them understand and sell edge computing solutions alongside Acumera’s network and cloud offerings. Provide partners with the tools and training necessary to deploy real-time, low-latency edge solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and security compliance.
  • Joint Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategies:
    Collaborate with partners to create joint GTM strategies that leverage Acumera’s edge computing, network, and cloud solutions. Focus on creating value propositions that address the specific challenges faced by retailers, convenience stores, and QSRs, such as real-time data analysis, PCI compliance, secure payment processing, and improving customer experience.
  • Customer-Centric Solution Development:
    Work with internal teams to design and deliver customized solutions that integrate edge computing with Acumera’s other services to meet the unique needs of retailers, convenience store chains, and QSRs. Focus on helping customers harness real-time data and improve operational performance at the edge of their networks.
  • Partner Performance Optimization:
    Define KPIs to measure the success of partner engagements, including sales growth, pipeline expansion, joint solution delivery, and customer satisfaction. Work with partners to optimize their performance, leveraging edge computing as a competitive differentiator to meet industry demands for low-latency, high-performance solutions.
  • Market Research & Competitive Insights:
    Keep a pulse on industry trends, particularly in edge computing, network security, and real-time data processing in the retail, convenience store, and QSR sectors. Leverage this knowledge to develop strategies that position Acumera as a leader in these markets and ensure our solutions address evolving customer needs.
  • Contract Negotiation & Agreement Management:
    Lead contract negotiations with new and existing partners, ensuring terms reflect Acumera’s goals and industry standards. Develop agreements that support the integration of edge computing solutions with broader managed network services, while maintaining compliance with key industry regulations.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or strategic alliances, with a strong focus on network services, cloud computing, and edge computing. Experience in the retail, convenience store, or QSR industries is highly desirable.
    • Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships with MSPs, system integrators, ISVs, and technology vendors.
    • Experience with edge computing solutions and how they integrate with network infrastructure to deliver low-latency, high-performance services.
    • Must have the ability to work onsite 3 days a week.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of edge computing technologies, managed network services, and cloud solutions, particularly how these technologies apply to retail, convenience stores, and QSRs.
    • Familiarity with industry-specific pain points in retail, convenience stores, and QSRs, including payment security, real-time data processing, and network scalability.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Experience with partner enablement and training, especially related to edge computing and network security solutions.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred).

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling edge computing solutions or network services into retail, convenience store, or QSR environments.
  • Strong technical background in edge computing, SD-WAN, and network security solutions.
  • Existing relationships with MSPs, technology vendors, and system integrators focused on retail, QSR, and convenience store markets.
  • Understanding of industry compliance standards, including PCI-DSS for secure payments and other regulations relevant to multi-location businesses.
