UPrep is seeking a curious, motivated, and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Intern to help us advance our vision of being an inclusive community of learners that provides an outstanding education for each individual in a diverse student population. Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Marketing and Communications Intern will work closely with the Associate Director of Digital & Brand Communications. Responsibilities will include compiling information and sending out the weekly All-School Email to families, capturing and creating social media content, interviewing students/faculty and writing blogs, and helping to maintain our photo and video databases. There may also be the opportunity to write for the UPrep Magazine.

 

This is a part-time, paid, in-person position up to 10 hours/week during school hours (Monday–Friday; 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.) beginning in August 2025. Schedule is flexible, but availability on Thursdays is preferred.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Rising college junior or senior student with an interest in communications or marketing

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A team player able to take direction and initiative
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and a sense of humor

 

Compensation & Benefits

 

This position is paid $22 per hour and is eligible for statutory benefits only.
