ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience and Competencies:
- Experience in addiction medicine or substance use disorder treatment is strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of and commitment to evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be sensitive to populations served.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a level II clearance.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare’s vehicle insurance is required.
- During your tenure with WestCare, there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
- CPR Certification and First Aid Certification required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health or adult health.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Certification in psychiatric-mental health or addiction nursing (PMHNP or ANP-BC) is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is primarily performed in an office or in the MAT Mobile Van.
- This position may involve flexible hours to accommodate patient needs and may require occasional travel for trainings or meetings.
