Position Summary:
The Case Management Program Manager supervises multiple case management units, ensuring timely completion of court documents, home studies, and monthly reports. They monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with performance metrics and contract requirements. The manager promotes trauma-informed care, facilitates reunification efforts, and supports foster, kinship, and adoptive families. Additional responsibilities include overseeing staff training and leading case conferences.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist Director in daily operations of case management staff.
- Provide direct supervision of four (4) to six (6) case management units.
- Provide coverage for the case management Director in their absence.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of monthly face to face contacts.
- Ensure the timely preparation of all court documents with the designated units.
- Review files to ensure the timely completion of home studies within the designated time frames.
- Oversee the timely completion of monthly reports and training within the designated units.
- Oversee case management unit compliance with all performance metrics and contract compliance measures which include, but are not limited to the following:
- o Compliance with timely completion of monthly visits and entry in FSFN no later than 24 hours after completion.
- o Compliance with medical guidelines.
- o Compliance with visitation, reunification timeframes, educational and case planning measures, incident reporting, protocols, etc.
- Monitor and evaluate case management staff performance, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in and lead case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions.
- Ensure that child welfare case management practices align with best practices in trauma-informed care and family preservation
- Facilitate reunification efforts while maintaining concurrent planning to explore alternative permanency options.
- Promote placement stability by actively supporting foster, kinship, and adoptive families.
