Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is an experienced professional specializing in case management, compliance monitoring, and staff development. Skilled in conducting audits, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and contractual guidelines, and preparing comprehensive daily and monthly reports. Proficient in tracking incident reports, identifying trends, and implementing improvements to enhance service quality. Adept at training staff on policies and procedures, with a strong focus on continuous quality assurance and risk improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conducts and monitors daily and monthly reports, requiring follow up with staff.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews of different job aspects for Case Management to ensure compliance with federal, state and contractual guidelines.
- Aides in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures and tracking and reporting mechanisms for missing kids, exit interviews, and other monthly reports and safety measurements.
- Receives and tracks all incident reports, including follow up and recommendations for outcomes. Utilizes data to identify trends and reports for improvement.
- Participates in all Quality Assurance activities.
- Assists in training staff and staff development activities related to quality case management services and documentation. Provides staff with ongoing training and updates of policies and procedures.
- Assists in the areas of risk improvement by tracking and preparing reports.
- Assists QI/QA Manager in maintaining documentation, as required by Department of Children and Families.
- Communicates and reports significant findings to QI/QA Manager.
- Applicant must be proficient in Excel.
