Description

Free private room in exchange for overnight coverage at an Assisted Living facility. 5 days on 5 days off 10pm-8am with weekly stipend. Background and drug screening required. This position is a sleep-in position. Wake-coverage is required only as needed, in the event of an emergency.

Essential Services:

  • Reside on property, provide nighttime security, and maintain property from the hours of 10pm to 8am
  • Remains on duty from 10pm-8am, until relieved by scheduled staff.
  • Act as on-site functioning House/Night Manager
  • Maintain schedule of 5 calendar days on, followed by 5 calendar days off.
  • Will adhere to all personal and conduct requirements of the faciliy
  • Address issues as they arise while functioning as House/Night Monitor, contacting appropriate parties as necessary
  • Act as first responder in the event of emergency
  • General Housekeeping
  • Maintain professional boundaries with program residents
  • Supervise and assist residents with daily living skills
  • Supervise and assist residents with medication management as needed
  • Comply with all training required for property licensure
  • Maintain availability to welcome new participants and supervise move-in/outs as needed
  • Adhere to facility drug-free policy and identify those under the influence, contacting appropriate parties as necessary
  • Provide information and emergency response/supplies as needed
  • Report any necessary facility maintenance/repairs to appropriate party as needed
  • Record-keeping as required including:
    • Medication compliance
    • progress notes
    • staff communication book
    • documentation of situations requiring employee response
  • Meet with program supervisor as requested
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of supplies and donations
  • Reinforce Community Living Guidelines and Rules with residents

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess current CPR certification
  • Must have Ability to provide an Affidavit of Good Moral Character
  • Must have Ability to provide Clearance in Pre-Employment and random Drug Testing and Criminal Records Checks, as required.
  • Must have ability to comply with Agency for Health Care Administration training requirements
