Position Summary:
The Regional IT Manager will coordinate activities within the assigned region, utilizing the full breadth of the IT team to accomplish installation, maintenance, and support activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Information Technology Responsibilities
- Act as leadership and a source of knowledge within the entire IT team.
- Work actively with Support, Administration, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Architecture teams to coordinate activities within the assigned region.
- Participate and provide input in the development, maintenance, engineering, and execution of critical systems within the network.
- Provide project management, supervision, and support for installation, support, and maintenance activities within the assigned region utilizing field service team, support team, service delivery team, as well as internal and external contractors to facilitate work.
- Propose and execute solutions to create and improve services, facilities, and software
- Create and maintain documents and processes related to systems, support, and networks
- Provide advanced-level technical support as needed for internal IT staff and customers.
- Train, mentor, and supervise technicians with regards to technical responsibilities and institutional knowledge.
- Fill in for other teammates as needed.
- Assist with maintaining an accurate and updated IT asset inventory.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose advanced network and systems issues.
- Adhere to and help enforce all policies related to acceptable usage of computers, internet/network connectivity, email, and phones.
