Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Banking Program Operations Manager to manage and optimize the end-to-end operational processes for our card issuing and deposit account programs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing partnerships, enabling regulatory compliance, implementing and streamlining operational workflows, and enhancing the efficiency of our payment and deposit infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the operational delivery of account issuing, card program and deposit products, assuring effectiveness, scalability, and compliance with industry regulations and standards.

· Partner with issuing banks, payment networks, processors, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless banking and account operations.

· Oversee banking services conducted via Ingo’s Banking Platform, including account creation, activation, and closure, transaction processing and account updates.

· Support effective reconciliation, settlement, and chargeback management, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

· Collaborate across teams to resolve account-related issues, inquiries and escalations to support timely solutions and good outcomes.

· Develop and refine banking program operational procedures and internal controls to enable compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and partner bank requirements.

· Collaborate with product, engineering, fraud risk, compliance, and customer support teams to resolve operational challenges and drive process and program enhancements.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.

· Serve as the subject matter expert for issuing and deposit operations, providing guidance on operational best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes.

· Lead the implementation of new operational processes and automation strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

· Manage and mitigate operational risks by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing corrective actions.

· Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership on operational performance, risk factors, and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

· 5-8+ years of experience in fintech or banking, with a strong background in prepaid card or account issuing, deposit operations, or issuer processing.

· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field, or commensurate work experience. MBA is a plus.

· Deep understanding of banking operations, financial regulations, payment networks (Visa, Mastercard).

· Proven track record of managing operational programs, cross-functional projects, and third-party partnerships.

· Strong analytical skills and experience with operational KPIs, reconciliation processes, and risk management.

· Ability to navigate complex operational challenges and develop data-driven solutions.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience with fintech platforms, core banking systems, and API-based payment infrastructures is a plus.

Qualifications:

· Strong interest in the fintech industry and eagerness to grow within a dynamic organization.

· Strong familiarity with banking systems, payments, and account or card processing strongly desired.

· Knowledge of software implementation processes and technical troubleshooting is a plus.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take initiative. Customer and client focused.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
