What are we looking for in a Director?
The Director of Inpatient Services is responsible for all fiscal, administrative, clinical, and operational aspects of our evaluation & treatment services throughout the Yakima Campus. This includes both youth and adult treatment facilities in Yakima and Selah. The Director will oversee staff and provide clinical supervision, develop and monitor the evaluation & treatment services budget, and ensure that services provided are effective and accessible. When necessary, the Director might also participate in direct treatment services. The Director will have three direct reports and over 100 indirect reports, so excellent leadership skills are essential in this role. To be successful in this role, the Director should be highly motivated with a strong clinical background, exceptional interpersonal skills, and have a talent for leading and motivating others. Although this position will work mostly a weekday day shift schedule, availability for emergency calls after hours and on weekends is required.

Director duties include:

  • managing staff levels, work assignments, and site processes to ensure efficient treatment delivery
  • providing clinical supervision to staff, which includes the assessment of clinical skills, giving constructive feedback, and offering training
  • ensuring the delivery of appropriate, clinically-effective, and culturally-competent services across all programs and teams
  • monitoring the clinical effectiveness of each program and participating in quality improvement & utilization management projects
  • maintaining the budget to ensure fair & effective resource management
  • providing oversight of the ongoing use, management, & training of the seclusion & restraint policy and procedures
  • ensuring all staff adhere to trauma-informed care principles
  • representing Comprehensive Healthcare in the community
  • participating in strategic planning for E&T programs and the agency
  • supporting Program Managers with preparation for and completion of survey reviews and audits at each respective facility
  • providing direct treatment when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensure
  • Four years of relevant experience as a clinician, with clinical experience with youth, adults, and geriatric populations
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Current independent clinical licensure (LMHC or LICSW) preferred but not required
  • Must be eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor registration
  • Must have valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and two years of driving experience
