Crisis Triage Center
Program Overview:
Crisis Triage Center is a sixteen-bed facility that serves adults who are experiencing substance use or mental health crises who need a safe environment to stabilize. Clients receive individual and group services, symptom monitoring, service coordination and case management, and referrals to longer-term treatment services when appropriate.

Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:
- Support staff in engaging clients during acute stabilization, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Observe and assist with group activities that promote safety, grounding, and recovery readiness.
- Participate in service coordination and discharge planning meetings, learning how to link clients to appropriate community-based care.
- Assist with documentation, referral processes, and crisis intervention strategies under supervision.
- Gain insight into withdrawal management, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care within a multidisciplinary team setting.
