Front End Programmer (Marketing)

What We’re Looking For:  

We're seeking a motivated and talented Front-End Developer / Email Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for coding, a hunger to learn, and a drive to get things done.

Reporting to the Creative Lead, the Front-End Developer is a marketing-based position with an emphasis on email and landing page development. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and deploying email campaigns including: Daily Newsletters, CRM Emails, Promotional Email Campaigns, and creating API-based landing pages. 

What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain responsive email templates
• Code and test email campaigns across various email clients and devices
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement email and landing page designs
• Front-end web development for landing pages with API integration
• Work with CRM and Product Teams on development and tagging of emails and Database Integration for personalization of templates and tracking
• Work with Marketing and Content teams to increase user engagement and email delivery optimization
• Monitor Delivery Reputation along with Return Path (weekly)
• The ability to create content blocks and tokens (ads, dynamic content, etc.)
• Work with Database resources in order to setup new lists/views for email targeting
• Implement changes as needed from Content and QA departments as they are identified
• Work with internal and external Engineers to trouble-shoot technical email issues as they come up
• All other projects as assigned

What You Will Need:

• 3+ years of experience in programming
• Experience with Advanced HTML, CSS, Responsive Design, and JavaScript
• Experience with API integration
• Experience with WordPress and PHP
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with project management tools such as Wrike, Jira, and/or Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Bonus Points for:

• Experience with Optimove and integration software such as Movable Ink
• ESP experience (StrongView, Exact Target, Responsys, etc.) *StrongView Preferred
• Experience with Contentful

The starting annual base pay for this position is $85,000-$100,000 per year. The actual base pay offered may vary based on candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.

In addition to the base pay, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as part of the compensation package.
