Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–3 years of related professional experience, ideally in an independent school or nonprofit setting.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable and effective in engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in using development software, Raiser’s Edge preferred. Understanding of database management, gift processing, and donor relations.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and Google Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with a broad range of internal and external constituents, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, donors, volunteers, and friends of the School.
- Demonstrate diplomatic, professional, and courteous interpersonal skills.
- Display discretion when dealing with sensitive, confidential issues.
- Detail-oriented with outstanding planning and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, work independently and collaboratively, and manage multiple projects on a deadline.
- Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment.
- Possesses sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities with high integrity, ethics, and dedication to the school's mission.
Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and for the majority of the work day. May be required to lift up to 25lbs.
