Kids Volunteer Coordinator

General Vision

Coordinate and manage volunteer scheduling for Veritas Kids Ministry, including Nursery, Early Childhood, and Elementary programs. Ensure volunteers are placed appropriately, confirm attendance, and manage volunteer communication to maintain smooth ministry operations.

Essential Job Functions 

• Schedule volunteers for Nursery, Early Childhood, and Elementary programs, ensuring coverage for all shifts.
• Confirm volunteer attendance and arrange substitutes as necessary to ensure positions are filled.
• Ensure volunteers are matched appropriately with roles based on skills, preferences, and ministry needs.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with volunteers regarding scheduling and ministry expectations.
• Appropriately engage, encourage, and support volunteers on Sunday mornings.
• Provide regular updates to Family Ministry leadership regarding volunteer staffing levels and needs.
• Support Family Ministry team administratively as needed.

Education and Experience

• 2–5 years of previous experience with administrative work

• Proficient in Google applications and web based computer applications.
