Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. One Saturday in July.

- Referral bonus of $50. If you know someone interested in being a new Camp Counselor, refer them to apply and list your name as the person who referred them. As long as both you and your referral are hired and remain in good standing, you will receive $25 at the middle of the season and $25 at the end of the season.
Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge of: A variety of recreational and athletic activities; knowledge of basic arts and crafts skills; and knowledge of basic creative dramatic procedures. Requires a good knowledge of outdoor recreation practices and techniques when assigned to outdoor activities.
Skills in: The ability to communicate effectively with children, adults, and other staff. The ability to swim 25 yards and tread water for 30 continuous seconds required.
Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: One (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
- Ability to pass CPR and First Aid certification training. Test administered by the Township required.
Safety-Sensitive: This position is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug testing.
