We’re looking for a Digital & SEO Marketing Specialist, AKA a marketing connoisseur with a passion for blogging, SEO, and a knack for online media. Are you an expert in SEO and keyword rankings? Summary: The Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist is responsible for supporting online digital marketing efforts and will create engaging and compelling marketing communications including website content, on-page SEO, and being the voice of Maggie by writing Maggie Sottero’s blog. As a Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist, you will develop and execute effective content and SEO strategies based on industry keywords to improve keyword rankings, paid and organic site traffic, and conversions for the Maggie Sottero Designs website. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Work collaboratively with the web team and recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Responsible for strategizing the monthly blog content calendar.
- Main contributor to writing, and scheduling blogs that are SEO-optimized, content-focused, trendy, and engaging.
- Curate and strategize social media posts to promote the blog.
- Manage the relationship with our ForwardPMX SEO partner and implement SEO recommendations.
- Lead out on GA4 understandings and reporting.
- Write and implement meta data and copy for website.
- Collaborate with other bloggers.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager and digital marketing team to further global social media and digital efforts across Facebook, Blog, Pinterest, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Google, and MSD website.
- Collaborate on copy for digital assets and platforms, including technical SEO and product writing.
- Assess SEO keyword trends and make recommendations for brand conversions.
- Identify link-building opportunities and perform outreach along with disavowing bad links
- Analyze campaigns through digital marketing tools and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising content marketing, web, SEO monthly.
- Monitor online competitor presences/perceptions.
- Engage with continual learning and education to stay abreast of shifting digital marketing best practices and trends.
- Active and positive contributor to the Sales and Marketing team.
- Responsible for educating and advocating for best SEO practices during day-to-day operations and campaigns.
