Description

This individual will collaborate with HR leadership and department heads to assess and identify succession planning needs to ensure alignment with organizational goals. This role will oversee the development, coordination, and administration of the company’s training programs to ensure employee growth and alignment with business objectives. This role will be the primary recruiter for the company and provide support for other HR-related tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the HR department.

 

 

Training Administration:

  • Training Needs Analysis & Delivery: Collaborate with department heads and colleagues to identify skills training needs, establish skills training schedules and facilitators, and deliver in-person or online training.
  • Training Program Development: Develop, coordinate, and implement effective leadership training courses aligned with business needs, employee development goals, and compliance requirements.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of training courses through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; make adjustments as needed to improve training outcomes.

 

Recruitment:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage all aspects of recruitment, from sourcing to pre-employment onboarding schedules, ensuring an efficient and effective hiring process for various roles across the company.
  • Talent Sourcing: Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking events, and recruitment agencies, to identify qualified candidates.
  • Interviewing & Selection: Conduct interviews, assess candidates’ skills and qualifications, and coordinate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Job Offer Negotiation: Extend offers to candidates, ensuring clarity on compensation, benefits, and employment terms.
  • Pre-Employment Onboarding: Ensure a smooth transition for new hires by managing the pre-employment process and the initial onboarding scheduling.

 

Ad-Hoc HR Support:

  • HR Administration: Assist with conducting job analyses throughout the corporation and assist with general HR administrative tasks, including updating employee records, managing HR systems, and preparing reports.
  • Employee Relations: Support HR initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
  • Policy Implementation & Compliance: Assist in the rollout and enforcement of HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Special Projects: Participate in ad-hoc HR projects, such as employee surveys, internal communications, or organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in conducting job analysis and/or conducting skills training within an organization. Experience in recruiting is also highly desirable.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Ability to identify skills and requirements related to essential job functions and design effective skills training programs.
  • A strong desire to assist individuals to reach their fullest potential.  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software.
  • General knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
