In this role you will negotiate the best possible settlement on behalf of the client and in a manner that will allow Craig Swapp & Associates to continue to grow and fulfill its mission. You must have excellent negotiation skills and be an advocate for the Firm’s clients. You must be able to effectively communicate, as well as courteous and professional with everyone you work with, especially with your clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Represents the client/firm with the liability insurance provider
- Reviews the demand packet for accuracy and completeness
- Establishes the criteria for the settlement demand, prepares the case and presents the demand to the liability insurance provider
- Negotiates the settlement
- Counsels with the COO on unusual or complex cases or when claims are denied
- Counsels with the litigation attorney on cases that move to litigation
- Develops, supervises case managers and legal assistants
- Achieves a high level of customer satisfaction.
