JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times. The Steward will maintain a proper level of clean inventory with a high standard of cleanliness according to the sanitation codes.  The job entails basic maintenance and cleanliness of the cooking equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To assist in the organization and cleanliness of kitchen area
- To receive deliveries and put product away with instruction
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines
- To open and close the kitchen on a daily basis
- Complete all assigned tasks
- Assist the Cooks as necessary
- To assist in food preparation
- Dispose of waste
- Ensure all items are clean according to sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor proper tank temperatures and chemicals
- Record and communicate all breakage
- To assist in the training of new employees
