AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR

Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Marysville is seeking motivated and driven candidates for an Automotive Service Advisor!  We want you to be a part of our dynamic team!  Our training team will help to develop your skills so you can advance with us!  No limit to your potential!


$72,000-$156,000/Year Commission + Bonus

Paid Time Off:

  • All employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law.
  • Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn an additional 40 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date. Following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn 80 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date.

 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Greet guests, listen to their concerns, and identify their vehicle service needs – Strive to enhance the customer experience
  • Conduct vehicle walk arounds and identify necessary repairs or maintenance
  • Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs
  • Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
  • Schedule appointments for service and repairs
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and tasks
  • Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the service process
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively explain technical information to non-technical customers
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for service writing and invoicing
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service center is preferred
