Production Detailer
The Production Designer is responsible for producing accurate construction drawings for new or modified exhibit components for shop carpenters and supplying set up instructions for all booth components for use by the show supervisor.
What you will do:
- Perform the role of a CAD Detailer for various production projects
- Attend production launch meetings, and contribute to meetings by providing technical expertise and knowledge to the team
- Create parts files for use on the CNC router
- Assist on projects within the team as needed in order to meet project timelines
- Evaluate 3-D design drawings, renderings, engineering blueprints and other client and vendor documentation to ensure compatibility, quality and detail level meets Access’s requirements
- Communicate with stakeholders and department leaders to collect information necessary to complete accurate and timely detail prints
- Determine initial timelines for production drawings, floor plans and set up drawings
- Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends and practices
- Research and develop specific types of products or services needed per design requirements
- Create detailed floor plans to include booth and property locations, electrical and networking requirements, hanging banner locations, carpet layouts etc.
