Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in community programs, engagement, events, outreach, and/or youth activities;
- Experience working with young children and comfort in managing multiple age groups;
- Ability to communicate and maintain a professional demeanor under stress;
- Ability to provide excellent customer service for all internal and external users, community members, non-profit representative/community partners, patrons, students, families, and clients;
- Basic competency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Great multitasker with an attention to detail, hard-working and self-motivated
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
These additional qualifications are preferred and will make candidates more competitive, but these are not required for the effective execution of the job responsibilities.
Associate’s Degree or higher in a related field;
Experience with community engagement, intergenerational engagement, LGBTQIA+ engagement, and/or event operations; and
Understanding of the Jewish Community and its constituents.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:
The position requires the candidate to remain in a sitting position for prolonged hours in an office environment. While performing duties, the candidate is often required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Candidate will often lift and or/move up to fifty (50) pounds.
Working conditions may include:
Being in an open (shared) workspace area;
Working outdoors for prolonged periods in sun and heat;
Working with young children/seniors; and
Sitting for prolonged periods in front of a computer screen.
