For nearly 100 years, JCC Denver has striven to build a community where everyone belongs. The center was founded in 1922 as a place of refuge for the Jewish people of Denver, and since then, the J has evolved into an inclusive community that extends beyond its walls in which they do business. Today, the doors are open to anyone who wants to celebrate life and be a part of something more.
A subsidiary of JCC Denver, the Mizel Arts and Culture Center (MACC) illuminates the human experience through creative and cultural programs in the performing, visual, and literary arts for the Jewish community and the community at large.
Historically the Mizel Arts and Culture Center has served over 26,000 people a year through a variety of programs and events that serve a broad demographic of cultural patrons. We strive to produce, present, exhibit, advance, and preserve the arts, serving as a performance and exhibition venue and as an educational resource for people at every stage of life.
Our annual events include exhibitions, concerts, films, author appearances, theatrical performances, and literary and film festivals. Facilities include the luxurious 400-seat Elaine Wolf Theatre, the 100-seat Pluss Theatre, a rehearsal studio, clay and art studios, and space for receptions and lectures.
The Technical Director will be responsible for leading all technical production efforts for the MACC.
