Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

CPA or CMA certification (preferred).

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry.

Corporate accounting experience preferred; public accounting candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and applied skills.
Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/XMATCH, and complex formulas.

Familiarity with Blackline, Alteryx, or Tableau is a plus.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and act independently.

Self-directed and able to work with limited supervision or hand-holding.

Comfortable working from notes, process documents, and peer collaboration when training resources are limited.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
