Data Analyst

Position Summary:

The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in Power BI and Tableau. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. If you thrive on analyzing complex datasets, creating data visualizations, and contributing to informed decision-making, this position is for you! This is a remote role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Data Preparation: Clean, validate, and process data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.
• Report Generation: Generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses for the Executive Team and Managing Partners.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and improve existing processes.
• Data Mapping and Design: Document data flows, mappings, and transformations.
• System Enhancement: Review and enhance existing data systems to optimize efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
• Problem Solving: Investigate data-related issues and propose solutions.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field a plus (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics).
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial industry.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
