Who you are/What you bring:
· Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in storytelling, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization with a strong understanding of multimedia communications and proficiency in creating content.
· Understanding of messaging and storytelling across a diverse range of audiences.
· Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and content.
· Ability to utilize a keen eye for design and aesthetics to create and/or collaborate on visually appealing content.
· Strong sense of prioritization and effective in managing multiple projects within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
· Experience in managing websites, social media platforms, and various digital resources, with expertise in crafting marketing materials, newsletters, press releases, and printed publications.
· Possesses excellent interpersonal abilities and adept communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through compelling written and verbal communication, enabling effective information delivery, persuasion, and influence.
· Experience using metrics to track progress towards goals and familiarity with communications tools such as WordPress and MailChimp.
· Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
Compensation: The range for this role is $75K to $85K; where the finalist falls in this range will be commensurate with skills and experience
