Description

Conduct and prepare written assessments (for in-person and virtual sites) on daily/weekly basis that reflect field observations. Collect, maintain and organize participant time sheets (for in-person and virtual sites)  on a weekly basis. Site Monitors must travel from worksite to worksite via public transportaton daily. Act as a liaison between the worksite and PAL (for in-person and virtual sites). Communicate with the Program Supervisor (s) daily regarding program participants and worksites. Maintain participant files (for in-person and virtual sites). Collect evaluations (for in-person and virtual sites). Monitor participants' performance at worksites (for in-person and virtual sites). Ensure worksites are providing a safe and supportive environment to youth assigned to the site (for in-person and virtual sites). Report any issues. Distribute and collect all program documents as necessary. Assist with preparation of files for audit. This position requires traveling to main office in Queens. Attend all related meetings and trainings. Perform other duties as assigned.  

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School diploma required
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
  • Ability to serve as a strong role model, provide guidance to young workers, and mediate conflict as needed.
  • Flexibility in schedule and some evenings/weekends may be necessary.
  • Computer literate and competency in MS Word, Excel.
  • Multi-tasker and exceptional communication skills a must.
  • Possess strong supervisory, collaboration and organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing skills required.
  • Ability to navigate the New York City transportation system.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and to work as part of a team.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 Per Hour 

Days & Hours: The hours for this position is mid- afternoon until evening, hours. some daytime hours will be required. Hours will be discussed in length during your initial interview.
