High School Diploma / GED.

be at least 18 years old.

of two years work experience in a non-profit agency working with youth.

Classroom management and behavior management skills.

show experience and competency in the material they would like to teach. A sample lesson will be part of the interview process.

communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

to complete DOHMH/DOE clearances and fingerprints including that an annual physical has been completed in the last year.
Location: The position is available at PS 47 - Bronx
Compensation: $17.00-$19.00 Per Hour
Hours & Days: Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm

Selected Candidates will be notified and scheduled for clearances
Clearances can take 2-4 weeks to complete
DOHMH Centralized Trainings will begin for those who are cleared.
Onsite Orientation for those who are cleared.
