The Maintenance Technician requires extensive maintenance experience. The technician installs, repairs, and maintains all equipment and is responsible for ensuring that all machines function properly through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. The maintenance technician will possess electro-mechanical skills in maintaining automated and non-automated equipment plantwide. This role will be responsible for repair and maintenance of Casto storage system.
Scheduling: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PMÂ Must have the ability to work overtime, weekends and off shifts as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for maintaining the facility, including plumbing and HVAC
- Responsible for completing preventive maintenance and machine calibrations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues including 110v to 480v motors and controls
- Log all work and parts using the CMMS system.
- Work closely with supervisors and operators to maintain the equipment and assist in process improvements.
- Inspects and checks equipment for proper operating condition, makes necessary adjustments, logs test readings, and maintains, repairs, or replaces all essential equipment parts
- Capable of working with outside contractors for troubleshooting procedures
- Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
- Operate metalworking machines to fabricate jigs, fittings, and fixtures
- Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances
- Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and testing
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications
- Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment
- Strict adherence to lock out tag out procedures
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
- Replace, empty, or replenish machine and equipment containers such as gas tanks or boxes.
- Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.

This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 75lbs unassisted, walking, bending, and reaching.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a warehouse/production environment; loud machine noise from production floor and machinery, exposure to welding flash and grinding sparks.Â
