Position Description Summary/Purpose:
Goodwin University's School of Nursing and Health Professions is seeking a dedicated nursing educator to join our team as the Course Coordinator for NUR 110: Adults and the Wellness Continuum in our Associate Degree Nursing Program. This full-time, year-round position represents an excellent opportunity for an MSN-prepared professional to shape nursing education and guide the next generation of healthcare providers.

- Course Management
- Developing and maintaining the course syllabus
- Designing course content and learning activities
- Establishing learning objectives aligned with program outcomes
- Planning the course schedule and pacing
- Instructional Leadership
- Teaching sections of the course
- Coordinating with other faculty teaching different sections
- Ensuring consistency across multiple sections
- Implementing effective teaching methodologies
- Assessment and Evaluation
- Creating and maintaining assessment tools
- Evaluating student performance
- Analyzing course outcomes and effectiveness
- Making data-driven improvements
- Administrative Duties
- Managing course materials and resources
- Coordinating clinical rotations (if applicable)
- Participating in department meetings
- Contributing to curriculum development
- Student Support
- Advising students on course-related matters
- Providing academic support and remediation
- Mentoring students interested in adult health nursing
Other Functions:
- Tach other courses across the School of Nursing based on area of expertise and program needs
