Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficient in electronic communications (e-mail, text) and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead project meetings and make presentations.
- Represent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizations.
Required Education and Experience:
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field, ideally with PE or ability to obtain a PE license
- Experienced with Project Management in the rail and infrastructure space
- Be bilingual in, or strong working knowledge, of Spanish
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Professional Engineer License in any state
- 10+ years of prior experience.
- Committed to life-long learning to stay updated on contemporary issues.
Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:
- Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO.
- Membership in a professional practice organization, national board member or officer, or national technical/policy committee member.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of engineers and designers.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple major projects or an entire program.
- Review operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures.
