Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel to various locations in the region for extensive periods of time
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe PDF Suite
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with sharing knowledge of track standards with clients, FRA, railroad employees, and other RailPros employees
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a railroad track inspector, MOW Foreman, or MOW Supervisor
- Proficiency in digital technology with the ability to use a tablet and/or laptop computer
- Competent in using a tape measure, level board, stringline, taper/step gauge, and straightedge
- High School Diploma required
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in monitoring multiple work sites and allocating time efficiently
- Ability to lead safety meetings and job site safety briefings
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience in coordinating project tasks with parties of conflicting interests
Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:
- Ability to pass “eRailSafe” background check and railroad safety and security training
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of FRA Track Safety Standards Part 213 Subpart G and be qualified by RailPros manager
