JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of a college of pharmacy approved by the Accreditation Council of Pharmaceutical Education. Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency program preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed as a registered pharmacist by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy
Experience: Previous hospital clinical experience is preferred
Skills: Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards and techniques relating to the compounding and dispensing of medicinal drugs. Knowledge of the principles and practices of pharmaceutical care, including IV fluids, IV additive programs, automated dispensing systems, and IV therapy services. Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to the pharmacy profession. Ability to use automated systems and office equipment at an acceptable level of proficiency. Ability to convey information effectively in verbal and written communication. Computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Excellent time management and communication skills
