- Bachelor in STEM field and 4 years Technical Writing experience or HS and 6 years Technical Writing experience supporting System Engineering teams
- Experienced user of the latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products
- Additionally, in accordance with any particular task, the candidate shall have a combination of the following skills:
- Ability to capture up-to-date notes, and provide record management of latest project developments by attending meetings, project events, reviewing documentation, and email traffic associated with project.
- Experience with engineering and project delivery life cycles
- Ability to absorb and synthesize large quantities of engineering or technical information, be able to digest and summarize technical date to functional teams and Government leadership.
- Ability to work with project and engineering team leads and members to identify required documentation repositories; support documentation revisions and edits while determining the best solution for compiling and storing modified and historical project artifacts.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with various mission delivery departments and engineering teams; support the vetting and definition of project requirements through verbal and online collaborations.
- Read, interpret, modify system engineering drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to enter technical studies, metadata, and data into relational databases.
- Ability to upload content onto websites using COTS web authoring tools; Ability to integrate existing graphics into documents using various COTS tools.
TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Salary Range: $90,000-110,000. Please note that this represents the typical salary range for this position, however, salaries are based on experience, location and contractual requirements which may be outside of the range listed.
