The Marketing/SEO Copywriter for BD&J is an integral part of the Communications team within the Marketing Department. This role fulfills writing responsibilities for a wide variety of assets, advertisements, webpages, and more in accordance with brand voice and SEO best practices and without the use of any generative AI. This role reports to the Communications Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft unique, weekly blogs in both English and Spanish, abiding by SEO best practices
- Draft or update marketing assets and firm materials such as brochures, flyers, or mailers
- Draft monthly email blasts to existing client database and update email lists monthly
- Provide Spanish language translations for marketing materials without the use of generative AI
- Collaborate closely with other Marketing department team members on the development of marketing materials
- Complete other necessary Marketing or Communications tasks, as needed
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of copywriting experience
- Written and spoken Spanish language fluency
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent collaboration and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use a computer, seated or standing, for eight hours per day
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of SEO experience
- Experience writing websites
- Prior legal marketing experience
This role is remote. Remote workers are expected to abide by the standards of in-person staff, including but not limited to:
- professional dress when meeting with vendors, attorneys, or clients
- timely responsiveness via email or phone, and
- consistent productivity in accordance with team deadlines
