Full Time Barback at The Pearl Hotel Rooftop

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Barback is to support the bar staff and ensure they have all the resources needed to give the guests a pleasant experience and maintain smooth bar operations. 

Job Responsibilities:   

• Keep ice well filled.
• Keep beer and liquor stocked. 
• Keep all cups stocked. 
• Keep all other needed supplies stocked and ready. 
• Support bar staff as needed. 
• Set up pool area. 
• Take out trash. 
• All other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience: 

• Sufficient education and literacy are necessary to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs. 
• Ability to read write and speak and communicate in basic English preferred. 
• CPR Trained (can obtain after employment) 
• Food Handling Certification 
• Alcohol Awareness Certification

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

• Detail oriented and thorough  
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests. 
• Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards. 
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way. 
• Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations 
• Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to remain observant and thorough.
