Intern, FP&A

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Intern to support a strategic project focused on recovery rate analysis. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world financial datasets, conduct deep-dive analyses, and generate actionable insights that will help shape business strategy.

The project aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of recovery rates, with a granular focus on industry-level segmentation, while integrating risk metrics and FICO score distributions to uncover patterns and predictive insights.

What you will do:

• Assist with onboarding and understanding project scope and available data
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and anomalies
• Perform correlation studies and statistical analysis on segmented datasets
• Integrate risk metrics and FICO data into recovery rate analysis
• Create data visualizations to support findings
• Develop a comprehensive final report and deliver a presentation of key insights

What we’re looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, Excel, or SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn)
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely

Additional Required Skills:

• Familiarity with financial data and risk metrics
• Understanding of FICO score modeling and segmentation
• Prior internship or project experience in data analytics
