With a strong regional presence and national reach, we are committed to service excellence, safety, and operational reliability and need a Regional Human Resources Manager to support our West Coast locations in California and Arizona.  As a trusted business partner, the Regional Human Resources Manager will be responsible for interpreting and supporting human resources policies, programs, and guidelines in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Reporting

  • Work with Regional and Branch leadership as a strategic trusted business partner.
  • Develop and track HR metrics (turnover, exit interviews, engagement, time-to-fill, etc.).
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and workplace issues.
  • Promote a positive work environment through engagement and communication strategies.
  • Manage investigations and resolve disputes professionally and confidentially.

Performance Management

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and goal-setting initiatives.
  • Support managers with coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
  • Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning.

Training & Development

  • Assess training needs and organize internal or external development programs.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee skills, leadership development, and retention.

Compensation

  • Administer compensation structures.
  • Work with managers and leaders to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices with emphasis on California requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position.
  • Office-based, with occasional remote flexibility depending on company policy.
  • Will require occasional travel.
