We are seeking a Buyer to join our team in Robesonia, PA to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure materials, components, services, and indirect materials based on engineering specifications and company requirements.
• Review and process purchase requisitions, generate purchase orders, and place orders with vendors.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, manufacturing teams, and service technicians to align procurement with project schedules.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms to meet budgetary and operational needs.
• Maintain vendor records, track purchases, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Resolve any discrepancies related to quantity, quality, or delivery issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement and supply chain processes.
• Conduct on-site vendor visits as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two or more years of purchasing experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively work with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with an ERP system for purchasing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes.
• Ability to travel occasionally and work in a manufacturing environment when needed.
