SALARY RANGE

$80,000 - $90,000 (Opportunities to earn incentive/commission pay as well)

 

POSITION LOCATION

 

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Currently 5 days of on-site work per month are required. 

 

POSITION PURPOSE

 

This position will be responsible for acquiring new business. This position will play an active role in driving sales via a client centric approach for our credit union solutions, digital solutions and our newly established consulting division.  A vast knowledge base of the company’s history, strategic goals and future direction will be expected.

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES      

 

  • Proactively identify and generate new business leads within the consulting division through outreach, networking, cold calling, and online prospecting.
  • Assist in development and execute targeted lead-generation strategies to grow the consulting division’s client base.
  • Qualify and convert leads into new business opportunities for the consulting division.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects, acting as a point of contact and building trust.
  • Actively listening to and understanding customer needs, pain points, and requirements.
  • Effectively presenting products or services, highlighting their value proposition and benefits to meet customer needs.
  • Addresses client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Proactively identify and qualify credit union core and digital opportunities.
  • Provide company overview both onsite, as well as via Webex.
  • Coordinate onsite and web presentations for prospective clients.
  • Participate, host, and at times, present during product demonstrations.
  • Participate in tradeshows, city tours, company-sponsored events, and promotions.
  • Participate in client “kick-off” and conversion process.
  • Update pipeline statistics and communications.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas, contributing to the organization's revenue growth.
  • Assist with answering Request for Proposal (RFP’s) and Request for Information (RFI’s) for prospective clients.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions, closing sales, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for maintaining due diligence packet for client prospects.
  • Provide ongoing support throughout the conversion process.
  • Aide in legal contract reviews.
  • Construct proposals for prospective clients.
  • Proof and finalize contract terms.
  • Aide in company-wide prospect background meetings.
  • Keeps accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance data.
  • Keeps up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
  • Identifies areas for improvement, growth, and efficiencies.
  • Works well with other departments within the organization to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensures that all area activities are conducted safely.
  • Oversees special projects as requested.
  • Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Promotes goodwill and conveys a positive image of the company.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field strongly preferred
  • Five or more (5+) years of sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation software preferred. 

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Understanding of financial technology solutions.
  • Understanding of related industry regulations.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other software, as applicable.
  • Knowledge of CRM software.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).
  • Occasional overnight travel.
  • Long duration of computer workstation usage.
