Classroom and After School Care Aide

Most Precious Blood School is seeking to hire a Classroom and After School Care Aide. The function of the Classroom and After School Care Aide is to work with individuals and small groups of K3-5th grade students under the supervision of the classroom teacher and the After School Care Manager. The Classroom and After School Care Aide will provide supervision to students and create a positive, safe environment. The After School Care Program follows the school calendar and is closed during normal school closure days. 

Work Hours: Monday - Friday  1 pm -6 pm

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Performa duties as needed by the classroom teacher
• Assists students with homework assignments
• Maintains a daily attendance log
• Creates a fun and safe environment

This job is the perfect job for Early Childhood Education and Social Work majors. 

• Must be a person who possesses love, care, and concern for children and enjoys being with and working with children
• Must be punctual
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
• Must submit to employment required screenings including a criminal history background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
• Must certify in Safe Environment training provided by the Office of Safe Environment and Child and Family Resources
• Must be at least 21 years old
