JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Under limited supervision, responsible for management and implementation of major customer accounts and programs.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through heavy customer interaction.
  • Assist Sales in maximizing sales volume and customer market share.
  • Customer Satisfaction and On-time delivery are the cornerstones of this position.

Activities

  • Assist in the order management of select customer accounts and programs for the maximization of sales to those accounts
  • Reviews customer order backlog with respect to manufacturing availability. Expedites production and purchasing to ensure customer delivery requirements are met. Answers and responds to customer calls for selected accounts.
  • Implement customer-specific programs for the smooth introduction of new services for the maximization of customer satisfaction
  • Accountable for the quoting, order generation, and relationships for a pre-defined customer account list
  • Work proactively to anticipate and resolve project issues (internal and external) and escalate when appropriate Identify methods for improving the new product introduction process and drive implementation of these improvements

  • Cross functional interaction with customer service, engineering and manufacturing to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Assist with regular business reviews with customer
  • Other activities as conditions require.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of five years experience in contract manufacturing sales to OEM customers with a thorough knowledge of business practices, procedures and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • High level of professionalism, dependability, energy and motivation.
  • Ability to assess and resolve situational problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues at one time.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • PC skills in WORD and EXCEL. Experience with MRP systems mandatory.
