JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or equivalent OR Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
Licensure: Current CPR certification required. Graduated from a Medical Assistant program, accredited by the Commission on accreditation of Allied Health Education Program preferred. Test and pass the National Certification exam (AAMA, NHA, NCCT) to be certified as Medical Assistant required. OR Current LPN License in the State of Georgia.
Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Skills: Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, advanced practitioners and staff members. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines and standards. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Intermediate Proficiency level with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.

Physical, Mental, Environmental and Working Conditions
Busy office environment with normal levels of noise and numerous interruptions. Ability to work under pressure, visualizes objectives and analytical problem-solving deadlines. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
