JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program as evidenced by primary source of verification or will obtain prior to working as a RN

Licensure: Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN. American Heart Association BLS CPR required; PALS and ACLS preferred.

Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Works in typical acute health care setting with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.
