Group Fitness Instructor - Bradley Wellness Center - PRN

JOB SUMMARY

To safely teach group exercise classes to members and non-members of all ages.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School or higher diploma/degree

Licensure: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Certification and ACE, AFAA, MOSSA, ZUMBA, or equivalent fitness certification corresponding with designated program of fitness and approved by the Group Fitness Coordinator. CPR certification may be obtained within 3 months of hire. Group Fitness certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.

Experience: Prior experience teaching group and individual exercise classes preferred.

Skills: Must possess excellent verbal communication skills, ability to motivate various populations to exercise. Must be in exceptional physical condition, energetic, enthusiastic and customer service oriented.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Classes may be taught in the pool, cycle studio, mind/body studio, and/or Group Fitness studio.
