The Findlay Market Shopping App Associate is responsible for supporting the operations of the Findlay Market Shopping App.
Role Description
Findlay Market is Ohio’s longest-running public market and a historic landmark. The Findlay Market Shopping App program provides an innovative way for Findlay Market shoppers to get the foods they need and want. The Shopping App Associate will be integral in the fulfillment, aggregation, and delivery of shopping app orders. Merchant relations and customer service will be vital in this role.
The Findlay Market Shopping App Associates’ success will be measured in part by the following goals:
- Retain existing and attract a new shopper base through outstanding customer service and efficient operational excellence
The Findlay Market Shopping App Associate will have the following detailed responsibilities:
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Picker Process
- Serve as the liaison between Findlay Market Merchants and its customers
- Manage the aggregation and preparation of orders for pickup and delivery
- Merchant Relations
- Assist with inventory updates and communications between merchants and shoppers
- Customer Service
- Provide friendly service when interacting with internal or external customers.
- Delivery Driver
- Maintain a valid Drivers License
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to drive for extended periods
- Good navigational skills
- Strong commitment to safety

- Follow all safety requirements, regular hand washing, wearing close-toe and skid-resistance shoes’
Working Requirements
- Shoes: Wear closed-toe, skid-resistant shoes. Keep in mind, when not driving, you will be on your feet the majority of your shift.
- Coat: Bring a layering sweatshirt and/or coat for walk-in cooler work. One will be provided for you in your uniform kit.
- Lifting Heavy Objects: Frequently moves boxes and bags weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs.
- Driver's License: Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Provide own transportation to and from work
- Associates will have to work in different temperature-based environments throughout a shift – market house, storefronts, outside, walk in coolers
- Customer service skills required

- Must be able to work weekday and evening hours
