Premier Driver Hiring Standards (Smart Phone with E-Mail Address)
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to speak and read English well enough to do his/her job and respond to official questions.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Must comply with Premier’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical on the second day of orientation.
- Must provide two (2) recent and verifiable years of over the road experience.
- Must provide two (2) verifiable years DOT log experience.
- Possess a current and valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Material and Tank endorsements.
- Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
- Must pass a commercial driver’s road test.
- Demonstrate the ability to determine whether a vehicle is safely loaded.
- Must successfully complete a Criminal Background Investigation.
- Smart Phone required (for dispatch) including email capability.
