QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in marketing and advertising; tourism or destination marketing experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of advertising planning, campaign execution, and reporting.
- Prior experience contributing to and implementing marketing campaigns.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong creating thinking with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player
- Effective communicator with strong writing, proofing and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project management platforms and digital asset management systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Philadelphia as a destination preferred and a passion for the PHLCVB’s mission.
