Data Scientist

We seek highly skilled and experienced Data Scientists to support the WF360 activity. These key personnel will design, configure, develop, test, and support informatics and data science solutions for various technical use cases. The ideal candidates will apply analytical methodologies to diagnose data-related challenges, implement solutions, and evaluate performance. They will document and present requirements, design alternatives and findings to team members and clients, and develop strategic, baselined data modeling processes.

• Design, configure, develop, test, and support informatics and data science solutions for various technical use cases.
• Apply analytical methodologies to diagnose data-related challenges, implement solutions, and evaluate performance.
• Document and present requirements, design alternatives, and findings to team members and clients.
• Develop strategic, baselined data modeling processes and accurately determine cause-and-effect relationships.
• Utilize integrated development environments, data integration, data visualization, data mining, and analysis tools.
• Maintain and guide the development of common libraries and tools multiple teams use.
• Aid in formulating a strategy to achieve rapid prototyping.

• Education: At minimum, an undergraduate degree in math, engineering, or computer science from an accredited U.S. University (or equivalent). A master’s degree is desirable.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of work experience performing data science and/or engineering of large-scale information systems.
• Experience with Machine Learning (ML) fields, such as natural language processing, computer vision, and statistical learning theory.
• Experience in an ML engineer or data scientist role building ML models.
• Experience writing code in Python, R, Scala, Java, or C++ with documentation for reproducibility.
